inZOI is a life simulation game developed by inZOI Studio and published by KRAFTON. Released in Early Access on March 28, 2025, the game allows players to create and manage virtual characters, known as Zois, in a highly detailed and interactive world.

Character Creation and Customization

The game features an advanced character creation system through its Creative Studio, where players can customize facial features, clothing, and other attributes with precision. Each Zoi possesses unique personality traits formed by over 400 different mental elements, which influence their behaviors, decisions, and interactions with others.

World-Building and Simulation

Players can construct and modify homes and other structures using powerful world-building tools. The game is built on Unreal Engine 5, delivering realistic visuals and dynamic city life. Every Zoi in the city acts independently, creating unpredictable scenarios like spreading rumors, following trends, or even getting sick, all of which impact the virtual community.

Gameplay Mechanics

inZOI provides deep life simulation mechanics, allowing players to control their Zois’ daily routines, careers, and relationships. Social interactions play a major role, with players able to influence the in-game society by spreading rumors or posting on a virtual social network. The game also includes various activities such as gardening, dancing, and singing, along with vehicle mechanics for transportation.

Roadmap and Future Updates

The developers have announced a series of updates planned throughout 2025 and early 2026. Upcoming features include modding support, adjustments to character weight and muscle customization, relationship improvements, and enhanced building mechanics. Later updates are expected to introduce a new city inspired by Southeast Asia, a family tree system, vehicle customization, and additional social and wardrobe features.

Platform Availability

Currently, inZOI is available for PC through Steam and can be played via cloud streaming on GeForce NOW. The developers are also considering expanding the game to other platforms such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
